This seminar explores the development of an innovative absorbent pant designed to combine the convenience of traditional pull-up use with the flexibility of an openable, reclosable and adjustable system.The presentation will explain how strategically positioned pre-cuts allow selected portions of the pant, particularly the front area, to be opened without tearing or compromising the permanent side seams. Once opened, the product can be positioned around the user's body and securely reclosed through adjustable wings equipped with repositionable fastening elements.This configuration is particularly useful in situations where removing trousers, shoes or other garments may be difficult, uncomfortable or unhygienic, such as in public restrooms, during travel or in environments with limited space. The product can therefore be changed or applied more conveniently while maintaining the structure and familiar appearance of a pull-up pant.Particular attention will be given to the adjustable wings, which allow the waist fit to be refined after the product has been applied. By enabling the user or caregiver to increase or reduce the level of tightening, the system can provide closer and more controlled adherence around the waist. This improved fit also helps the product remain correctly positioned during movement and when it becomes heavier as a result of fluid absorption, reducing the tendency to loosen, sag or slip during use.The seminar will also examine the design choices behind non-elastic or partially elastic wings, the interaction between the repositionable fastening elements and the receiving area, and the benefits of combining secure closure with stable, progressive fit adjustment.Attendees will gain an understanding of how this configuration may support easier application, improved discretion, greater independence and more effective fit management for both users and caregivers, while preserving the structural integrity and functionality of the absorbent pant.
