Amazon Freight Less than Truckload

Session Description

Max will go through and discuss the still relatively new business of Amazon Freight (launched 2019), and specifically the business which I lead: Less than Truckload (LTL) which launched in the UK in 2022, Germany 2024 and Netherlands and Belgium in 2025.  I have done a lot for Veterans in Amazon, and currently am President of our Germany branch of Warriors @ Amazon, an Employee Led Group to support our Vets!

About Max Cassily 

10 years in the British Army, finishing as a Captain and Logistics Officer, followed by leadership roles with Aldi UK and Amazon. I then became Head of Contract Logistics at EV Cargo, overseeing 10 UK warehouses, before returning to Amazon as a Senior Operations Manager. I’m now Head of Amazon Freight LTL UK & Europe and President of Warriors @ Amazon Germany.

Based in Germany since August 2024, I’m a proud dad of two (5 and 2) with my awesome wife, Nina. Outside work, I love football—playing and watching—and running.
