Jeff Abeson is Vice President of Business Development for the Supply Chain Solutions division at Ryder System, Inc. 

In this role, Jeff leads business development efforts across key industry verticals, including Retail, Technology, Health, Last Mile and E-commerce. With a team of 16 seasoned professionals, Jeff spearheads Ryder’s business development strategy, ensuring tailored solutions for clients in fast-evolving industries. Under his leadership, sales rose 130%, and almost 300 new names were added to Ryder’s portfolio – including Amazon, BJC Health and Fresenius Medical Care.

Jeff joined Ryder in 2018 as Group Director of Sales, following the company’s acquisition of MXD Group. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at MXD Group (formerly Exel Direct, Inc., a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL), serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Sales Officer. During his tenure, he was responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives and developing customer engagement strategies.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Transportation and Distribution Management from Syracuse University.
