We were proud to give congratulations to Lodge Security Officer Paul Nevitt — recognised with the Victim Support Award for his outstanding dedication and professionalism at the Spinning Gate Shopping Centre, Leigh, where he took care of a young boy, until the boy's mother arrived and alerting the GMP to the scene - after a case of harassment by older boys at the centre..

Maybe that’s why Lodge Service Managing Director, Andrew Cockerill says that “his impact has been incredible” and “he’s a really strong character, positive to be around”…

And as the boy’s mother, who Paul went above and beyond to ensure his safety posted on Facebook:

"…I got a phone call from the amazing security team from Leigh Shopping Centre… thank you Paul from the Lodge security team for your support and taking care of him until I got there…"
