Locus Array
Locus Array is a Robots-to-Goods (R2G) solution that enables the next step towards autonomous fulfilment. Array automates core warehouse processes directly at the point of storage, significantly reducing manual work while maintaining the flexibility that is central to Locus solutions.
Unlike traditional Goods-to-Person or ASRS systems, Locus Array is not rigid or infrastructure-intensive. Instead, it is designed as a flexible automation layer that integrates into existing warehouse layouts. It enables autonomous processes such as picking, putaway, receiving and induction, sorting, and inventory counting—without requiring a warehouse redesign or locking operations into a fixed infrastructure.
A key feature of Locus Array is its ability to eliminate the majority of manual touchpoints. In typical applications, more than 90% of manual process steps can be automated, helping to stabilise throughput and significantly reduce labour requirements—particularly in environments characterised by high volatility, demanding service-level requirements, and ongoing labour shortages.
Array is fully orchestrated through the AI-powered LocusONE™ platform and works seamlessly with Locus Origin and Locus Vector within a single system. Tasks, workflows, and robotic capacity are centrally coordinated and can be dynamically shifted between manual, partially automated, and fully autonomous processes—without system disruptions or complex reconfiguration.
Locus Array is part of Locus Robotics’ Flexibility-First automation strategy. It enables companies to scale progressively from collaborative automation to zero-touch operations while maintaining investment flexibility. Delivered through a Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, Array supports rapid deployment, continuous innovation, and the ability to adapt the level of automation to changing volumes, product ranges, and business models.
